Hardie's Fruit & Vegetable is a leading supplier of fresh produce serving restaurants and other foodservice operators in parts of Louisiana and Texas. The company has four distribution centers offering more than 1,300 items, including both locally-grown and imported produce. It also distributes some dairy products and dessert goods, as well as organic produce. In addition to foodservice customers, the company serves some food retailers. Hardie's was founded in 1943 by the family of president David Hardie.
