Harvey Mudd College

Mudders get down and dirty with math and science. About 800 undergraduate students (called "Mudders") attend Harvey Mudd College (HMC), a private non-profit liberal arts school that specializes in engineering, mathematics, and the sciences. HMC is a member of The Claremont Colleges, a confederation of five independent undergraduate colleges and two graduate schools that is managed by the Claremont University Consortium. The group shares resources and offers dual degree programs. HMC alums include Jonathan Gay, creator of Flash software, and Unison founder Rick Sontag.
