Its products are used by financial institutions for voice and data transmission and routing in their trading environments. These products are designed to integrate with products from technology vendors such as Avaya and Cisco. With more than 115,000 dealerboards worldwide, IPC's financial extranet includes some 4,000 locations in more than 700 cities. Its offerings also include enhanced voice services, business continuity, and support. IPC Systems is owned by Silver Lake Partners.
