Jerr-Dan manufactures wreckers for transporting cars and light trucks, as well as carriers used to transport larger machinery such as construction equipment and other off-highway vehicles. The company also makes four-car carriers and industrial transporters that can handle loads weighing up to fifteen tons. Jerr-Dan sells through distributors in the US, Canada, Europe, and Australia. Jerr-Dan, which founded in 1959 as Grove Manufacturing, was acquired by Oshkosh Truck (now Oshkosh Corporation) from Littlejohn & Co. in 2004.
