MTS Medication Technologies gives pills a safe home while they head to the patient who needs them. The company makes proprietary medication packaging systems and related products. Institutional pharmacies use them to conveniently and accurately package the drugs they give to patients; the company's custom technology allows caregivers at some 6,000 pharmacies located within assisted-living, nursing, and correctional facilities to administer medicine or vitamins to many people while keeping close tabs on dosages. Retail pharmacies also use MTS' products in medication distribution. MTS is a subsidiary of Omnicell.
