Gerber Memorial Health Services (GMHS) provides acute medical services for the rural county of Newaygo County, Michigan. The not-for-profit hospital, operating as Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial, has about 60 licensed beds. Services include cancer care, cardiac rehabilitation, orthopedics, surgery, emergency medicine, and women's health. It also provides general practice and home health services. GMHS was founded in 1918. GMHS was acquired by western Michigan health network Spectrum Health in 2010; GMHS had already been affiliated with Spectrum through its membership in the Spectrum Health Regional Hospital Network.
