Its engineers provide services including feasibility studies, design, and high-volume manufacturing logistics for companies that make radio devices, Internet systems, and electronic sensors. Roke Manor Research also offers low-volume manufacturing services in-house. Siemens accounts for a large portion of sales, but customers include other companies as well as governments. The company operates in the US, Australia, and Europe. Once a subsidiary of Siemens AG, Roke Manor Research was sold to UK-based weapons maker Chemring Group for £55 ($88 million) in 2010.
